COLCHESTER boss Steve Wignall was furious that his team let Everer off the hook. "For the second match in a row our defence has given away a soft goal, which has cost us important points," he blasted. It was no surprise when man-of-the-match Mark Kinsella opened the scoring for Colchester but despite continued home pressure Richard Pears clinched the equaliser for Exeter.
