The Grecians recorded their first league win for three months as goals from Richardson and Gavin gave them a 2-0 victory over promotion chasing Rochdale City took the lead in the 14th minuta when Richardson fired home from 18 yards. City had to wait until the final minute before clinching the points when a superb curling 20 yard free-kick taken by Gavin left the Dale keeper flatfooted.
