The impressive Lee Bradbury gave City a 16th minute lead when he took full advantage of a hesitant Mansfield defence. Sadly, Bradbury was later replaced after suttering a rib injury. This followed on from the early loss of Mark Come through concussion after just 8 minutes Mansfield equalised in the 51st minute when Steve Harper netted after a succession of comer kicks
