Endsleigh Insurance League Third

FULHAM 2 EXETER CITY 1

This was not one of the best days of the season for Exeter City, as they under performed in many areas of the team, a paint made to his players after the pame by manager Peter Fox City did have a couple of promising spets, but i general they were always second best to a revitalised Fulham team under rew manager Micky Adams.

Fulham pot away to the best possible start by taking the lead after just 5 minutes, when Robert Scott west around Mark Came and drove low into the corner of the net, his first paal since joning the Craven Cottagers from Sheffield United.

The same player increased Fulham's tally in the 70th minute when he nodded home across from Phil Barber. At this stage Fulham could have increased their lead even further as they attacked almost incessantly

There was one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing afternoon, when Leon Brathwaite swiveled and pushed home a close range shot to reduce the arrears
