A tenth minute goal from the ever improving Leon Braithwaite was enough to secure the points for the Grecians, who had to hang on to their lead in the second hall. It could have been a lot easier for City though, had Mark Cooper's panaity kick had not bean saved shortly after Braithwaite had given his side the lead.

The winning goal came as a result of a Cooper piss which Braithwaite latched onto, his pace getting him to the ball before the cnrushing Revers keeper. Leon just managed to get enough power on his shot for the ball to roll into the goal Peter Fox came to the rescue in the closing minutes as Doncaster constantly pushed forward in search of an equaliser. The player manager made a superb stop from a Coin Cramb volley.
