Match 06
4th September 2004
Crawley T (h)
Exeter 3-2 Crawley
Marcus Martin's first goal for Exeter saw them hit back from two down to win. Chris Todd deflected Danny Davidson's shot into his own net and Charlie MacDonald's penalty made it 2-0 to Town after Dean Moxey fouled Adrian Deane.
Sheldon smacked in a brilliant 25-yard free-kick to pull one back and Phil Smith then fumbled Gareth Sheldon's corner into his own net. Martin capped a remarkable fightback for the Grecians when he headed in Sheldon's cross to clinch victory.
