Match 22
27th November 2004
Burton A (a)

Burton 1-0 Exeter

Jon Shaw scored the only goal of the game to earn Burton Albion a narrow victory over Exeter.

Shaw, who spent time on trial with Cheltenham this week, got on the end of Craig Dudley's cross and gave Bittner no chance from close range.

The Grecians just about shaded the opening exchanges with Gareth Sheldon and Sean Devine going close.

Danny Clay and Gary Sawyer had efforts go wide while Steve Flack was denied by keeper Daniel Crane towards the end.
