Match 27
26th December 2004
Hereford U (h)

Exeter 4-0 Hereford

Hereford conceded two own goals as their promotion hopes took a dent in a convincing defeat at St James Park.

Goalkeeper Craig Mawson put the ball in his own net to give Exeter the lead and Dean Moxey doubled the lead from Scott Hiley's cross just before half-time.

Hiley also created the third which was tucked away by Sean Devine.

And a Devine shot was diverted past his own goalkeeper by James to make it 4-0 and complete Hereford's heaviest away defeat since April 2003.
