Jake Edwards struck a minute from time to earn Exeter all three points.

The Grecians went ahead when Kezie Ibe took advantage of some poor defending and found the back of the net with a powerful left-foot drive.

Tamworth's Bob Taylor and Kyle Storer had efforts ruled out for offside before veteran striker Taylor netted from a superb Scott Stamps cross.

But Edwards had other ideas and clinched victory for the visitors with a drive into the bottom corner.
