A second-half goal from Lee Phillips gave Exeter victory at KitKat Crescent.

The home side took the lead on 38 minutes when Jon Maloney headed home and they were close to another but Andy Bishop's header hit the woodwork.

Jake Edwards headed the equaliser in first-half stoppage time before Phillips headed home from Alex Jeannin's 63rd-minute corner.

Paul Robinson blazed over late on for York while Exeter's Marcus Martin was denied right at the end.
