David McGhee spared Canvey a fifth successive defeat with a last-gasp equaliser against Exeter.

Junior McDougald headed home Chris Duffy's cross to put the home side ahead after just two minutes.

Steve Flack headed Exeter level on 66 minutes before Dominic Sterling's late own goal looked to have won the match for the visitors.

But Canvey's McGhee headed home Jon Keeling's cross in the fourth minute of injury time to secure his side a point.
