BBC match report-

Exeter 1-2 Cambridge
An extra-time golden goal from Armand One was enough to give Cambridge a win over Exeter in the LDV Vans Trophy.

Cambridge took the lead in the 15th minute when Daniel Chillingworth capitalised on a mix-up between Exeter defender Jamie Campbell and goalkeeper Arjan van Heusden and tapped the ball into the net.

Exeter pulled level on the stroke of half-time when a Christian Roberts cross was pumped towards goal by Martin Barlow and Gary Birch deflected the ball home from close range.

Chillingworth was twice denied by fine saves from van Heusden while Exeter dominated the second half with Roberts and Birch were guilty of missing clear chances.

But towards the end of the first period of extra-time, One scampered past two defenders and struck the winner past van Heusden from the edge of the box.

Exeter: Van Heusden, Power, McConnell, Campbell, Watson, Buckle, Barlow, Roscoe, Breslan, Birch, Roberts. Subs: Fraser, Richardson, Read, Moor, Cronin.

Cambridge Utd: Perez, Fleming, Duncan, Walling, Goodhind, Warner, Guttridge, Ashbee, Youngs, Chillingworth, Revell. Subs: Marshall, Angus, Wanless, Prokas, One.

Referee: M Fletcher (Warley).
