BBC match report

Conference side Dagenham & Redbridge secured a mouth-watering FA Cup clash with Ipswich by destroying Exeter inside 45 minutes.

The Daggers suffered an early blow when striker Mark Stein limped off with a leg injury and had to be replaced by Junior McDougald in the fourth minute.

But that was quickly forgotten when McDougald provided the perfect cross for Mark Janney to head home after six minutes.

The home side doubled their advantage in the 20th minute when McDougald powered a header into the top corner from Paul Terry's centre.

And just three minutes before the break, Janney tricked his way past a defender before delivering the perfect cross for Ken Charlery to head home the third goal.

Exeter improved in the second half but they found it difficult to break down Dagenham's well-organised defence.

Dag & Red: Roberts, Rooney, Smith, Heffer, Vickers, Janney, Terry, Shipp, Hayzelden, Charlery, Stein. Subs: McDougald, McGavin, Hill, Brennan, Gothard.

Exeter: Van Heusden, McConnell, Curran, Watson, Power, Roberts, Ampadu, Barlow, Roscoe, Flack, Tomlinson. Subs: Fraser, Cronin, Read, Campbell, Richardson.

Referee: P Alcock.
