The soldiers of the 112th Battery possess a good reputation for playing Association in a scientific manner, and they will be a valuable acquisition to the strength of "Soccer" in the "Ever Faithful."
No less than 15 teams have already intimidated their intention of becoming affiliated to the East Devon Junior League, viz., Exeter Training College Reserves, Sidwell's Reserves, Sil David, Sil Matthew, Belmont, Friernhay, St Thomas, Emmanuel, Willey and Co., Culm Valley. Exmouth Albion, Exmouth Rovers, Dawlish Reserves, St John's United, and Heavitree.

The Hon. Secretary of this League is Mr. A. T. Palmer, of 38, Abbey-road, Torquay. Clubs which have not yet joined the East Devon League and are desirous of doing SO should communicate with Mr. F. J. Harvey, of St Sidwelll's Exeter.
An examination of candidates for appointment as official referees will be held by the Association shortly.
With a view of further promoting the game in Exeter, a match has been arranged to take place in the city on October 3rd be- tween a team selected from Clubs affiliated to the East Devon League and the Plymouth district. The match will also be utilised to give the County Committee an opportunity of selecting players to do duty for Devon, and Secretaries of Clubs are, therefore, asked not to arrange fixtures for the date.
