Midfielder Wayne Carlisle scored twice as Exeter moved up to fourth in the Conference with victory at Crawley.

Lee Elam opened the scoring with the first attack of the match, drilling home a right-foot shot from 20 yards.

The winger turned provider after 34 minutes, crossing for Carlisle to head home from 12 yards.

And Carlisle took his goals tally for the season to five shortly after the interval when he drilled home from the edge of the penalty area.
