Fleetwood Town

Fleetwood Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in Fleetwood, Lancashire. The club was founded in 1997, the 4th incarnation of the club. Originally formed in 1908 as Fleetwood FC, changing in 1928 to Fleetwood Windor Villa and back to Fleetwood FC again in 1931. The club folded in 1976 and re-establised in 1977 as Fleetwood Town. Once again in 1996 the club folded, but bounced back a year later, 1997.
