Santino Ohanaka, an attacking midfielder or wide player from London, signed for Exeter City as a scholar/trainee after finishing school in 2023. He had formerly been part of Tottenham Hotspur’s programme.
Initially identified playing for Onside Academy he had started playing as an under-16 category player for Exeter City’s under-18s in the Youth Alliance during the early months of 2023. Arriving at St James' Park on a full-time basis in the summer, he appeared against Crediton United in the Devon St Luke's Bowl in September 2023 and was later an unused substitute against Arsenal under-21 in the EFL Trophy before playing as a starter in the FA Youth Cup game at Hemel Hempstead in November 2023.
Moving into his second full-time season with the club, Santino appeared in first-team pre-season friendlies starting with the game against Tiverton Town on 9 July 2024 and later scored against Yeovil Town whilst continuing to feature for the under-18s in both the league and FA Youth Cup as well as for the club's team in the Devon St Luke's Bowl. Needing more expereince of adult competitive football, he joined Plymouth Parkway on loan in November 2024.
