Phil Naisbett, a goalkeeper from County Durham, was registered to play for Exeter City during the 2000/01 season. Although he didn't play, he sat on the first-team bench as an unused substitute goalkeeper on a number of occasions between October and December 2000.
He had previously been a trainee at Sunderland before moving to Gateshead and then Scarborough where he appeared in two league games during the club's final season in the Football League.
Later played for a number of non-league clubs including Whitley Bay and became a coach working at Northumbria University and for South Shields.
