Despite their win over Aldershot, Exeter City remain in next to bottom position in the Third Division South it seems hardly fair to criticise after a clear cut win, but City have played much better this season and lost and Aldershot were by far and away the worst side seen this season. In one early spell Aldershot played some delightful to watch football, but it was football without punch and the result was that Hunter had his quietest game of the season, The shambling, mistake laden manner in which City move forward would have made little impression on a defence any better than Aldershot's jumblers. against this pitifully poor collection City should have gone a long way towards squaring their goal average, Corner after corner, scramble after scramble in the Aldershot goalmouth but keeping pace was error after error of the City forwards, It should have been 6-0 but City managed only three, Harvey scored the first with a 24th minute penalty. Atkinson headed the second in the 53rd minute and Currie two minutes from the end scored with a 20 yard drive, On this form City will not pull away from the bottom.

Harriers go nap in first win
Kidderminster 5, Exeter 1
Scoring four times without reply in the second half Kidderminster Harriers romped to their first win of the season in a game which was a tonic not only for the players but also for the spectators who had hitherto seen the team score only once in six previous home games. Two of the goals came from new centre forward Denis Humphries recently acquired from Bromsgrove Rovers, who led the line with dash and vitality. It was Humphries who tapped the ball home to give the Harriers an early lead after McClelland had done the spade work. Hill equalised for Exeter but in the last 20 minutes Harriers ran riot. Rutherford scored from an almost impossible angle and then took the corner from which Humphries headed his second goal, Wheeler headed in from a cross by McClelland and the latter scored the ifth goal from the penalty spot after he had been brought down

Worcester Keep Home Record
Worcester City 6, Exeter City 2.
Worcester easily maintained their home record against a team which included five players who appeared in their Third Division side on Saturday. Given a good start by a goal in the seventh minute by Quigley. Worcester's lively for- wards constantly had a shaky defence in trouble. Harvey equalised from a penalty ten minutes later. but Follan quickly restored Worcester's advantage and a 30-yard shot by Cocum made it 3-1 shortly before the interval.
Follan went through to score Worcester's fourth, and al- though Wilson reduced the arrears Quigley scored again after a shot by Cocum had hit a post and the latter completed the scoring in the last minute
