Exeter started well from the outset and within the first five Iminutes were ahead after a cross from Kerry Hurley was converted by Gabby Stoneman on the edge of the area. The second goal followed shortly when a Gabby Stoneman corner was hit into the top of the net by centre half Tamsin Braund. City were dealt a blow at the twenty five minute mark when centre forward Hannah Cox was taken off with a pulled hamstring. Along ball over top from Naomi Wilkins for Gemma Ralph to run onto and coolly finish, making the score 3-0An attack down the left wing from Zoe Kingdom created a cross for Naomi Wilkins to net with a fantastic header to make it 4-0. The fifth goal came just before half time after some good work down the right hand side from right back Willow Adams and winger Siobhan Aslett. A cross from Siobhan left Zoe Kingdom to beat the keeper at the near post and make the score 5-0 as the half time whistle blew. At the start of second half City's keeper Rosie McGuire had to come off suffering a thigh injury. Centre half Jade Maryan took over in goal and Leanne Stonelake was brought on to slot into the defence line up. Three quick fire goals followed and put the game to bed! Two of these were from Zoe Kingdom and another from Naomi Wilkinswith great assistance from Sam Charles, Gabby Stoneman and Gemma Ralph. City continued to push on and a good ball from substitute Leanne Stonelake found Siobhan Aslett who did not miss her chance to make the score 9-0. City's next goal came from a long ball from centre half Tamsin BraundThis found Kerry Hurley who finished with an outstanding twenty five yard strike to take City into double figures! Within minutes Naomi Wilkins completed her hat trickThis was a great team goalwhich after some brilliant passing and movement from the girlsleft Naomi free to net the goal from eight yards. Exeter saved the best goal of the game until last! Gabby Stoneman beat two Brixham players with some great skills before firing into the top comer of the net from just outside box to make the final score 12-0.
