Played for Exeter City as a traillist against Tiverton Town on 7 July 2023 but did not appear again for the club. Signed for Edinburgh City a month later. 

Signed as a trainee for Dunfermline Athletic in 2012 where he made 45 league and cup appearances with two spells on loan at Brechin City. Moved to Dundee in 2017, Ross County in 2019 and Scunthorpe United in 2020 making around a hundred league appearances in the process. Two season spell with Hamilton from 2021 making 23 league appearances.
