Biographical Text
Thomas Jenkins played a handful of games for Exeter City in 1927/28. He joined the club from Merthyr Town and later played for Southend United.
After playing for Faircroft Main in the Rotherham Junior league, he appeared for Firbeck Main and Carlton-in- Lindrick Colliery before signing for Manchester City in 1929. Although he never made the senior side, Exeter City brought him to Devon in the summer of 1930.
He received his Football League chance when regular keeper Arthur Davies was injured and made his debut against Southend United in October 1930. He only played four further league matches for the Grecians and signed for Yeovil & Petters United in time for the 1932-33 season.
