City lose their J.P.T Southern area Semi-final 2nd leg at SJP 2-1 to Brentford and hopes of a Wembley appearance are gone. City had won. all of the previous rounds away from home at Yeovil, Hereford, Plymouth and Bristol Rovers - and drew in 1st leg 1-1 at Brentford.

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon:
"I'm happy to lose, I'm happy to be gracious in defeat, I'm happy to be philosophical about it, but I'm not going to hide the fact that we didn't compete and play well enough.

"It was a shockingly poor performance in such a big game and we don't deserve to go through because the opposition played better than us.

"For some reason it was a poor performance and there's no point really going back and over-thinking it because it's done - we've lost our chance and we'll have to move on."
