EXETER CITY LADIES 2015/16
By OLIVER RODERICK
LADIES TO MEET TORQUAY BEFORE NEXT WEEK'S KEYNSHAM OPENER.
Exeter City Ladies will meet Torquay United LFC tomorrow (9th August 2015) in their final pre-season warm-up before their new FA Women's Premier League South West Division One season gets underway next weekend
The Grecian ladies have had a successful summer so far, beginning their preparations with a 3-0 win over Alphington Ladies. A brace from Vic Barter and another from Chloe Williams saw the holders of the SWH Ltd Devon Women's Senior Cup begin 2015/16 on a winning front, just as they had done to see out the previous campaign. Welsh side Port Talbot Ladies visited St. Martins for a veritable goalfest on August 2nd, Vic Barter helped herself to a hat-trick against the South Wales outfit, while Ellis Hillman and Helen Kukor added two more as the City Ladies came out 5-2 winners.
Torquay United represent the next opposition at St. Martins tomorrow afternoon - please get along to support the ladies if you can. Carla Staddon, Kirsty Caunter and co will then travel to Keynsham, which is between Bristol and Bath, to get their new campaign away. Good luck to manager Gareth Young and all of his players.
