Biographical Text

Kieran Wilson, a Scottish centre-forward, signed for Exeter City as a scholar/trainee after finishing school in 2023. He had previously played age-group football for both Airdrieonians and Livingston and made his Grecians first-team debut in the EFL Trophy against Tottenham Hotspur under-21s.

Kieran was new to the club when he was announced as a scholar/trainee in July 2023 and had been recommended by former player Alan Gow who was in charge of youth development at Airdrieonians at the time. Appearing for the under-18s in league games, Kieran also featured in both of the club's FA Youth Cup games in the 2023/24 season.

Moving into his second season with City, Kieran scored in the friendly against Yeovil Town on 19 July 2024 and, after further appearances for the under-18s (including the FA Youth Cup once more), made a late substitute appearance in the EFL Trophy against Tottenham Hotspur under-21s on 24 September 2024.

in addition to having a brief spell on loan with Plymouth Parkway later in the season, he also featured for City's under-21s in the Premier League Cup and for the club's team in the Devon St Luke's Bowl.

Having played more under-18 games than many over the previous two years, Kieran was offered a professional deal in May 2025 and soon made his league debut as a late substitute in the opening-day defeat at Doncaster Rovers on 2 August 2025. Six weeks later, after a total of six appearances from the bench in all competitions, he made his first start for City in the EFL Trophy against Cardiff City when he won the man of the match award. Thereafter, in November of the same season, he joined Torquay United on loan (scoring on his debut).
