City start life in Div 3 with a 3-1 defeat to Reading at SJP. Gordon Hobson scores on his debut.

City win 4-1 at Birmingham in the 2nd leg of the League Cup Rd 1, having drawn 0-0 in the 1st leg. Eamonn Dolan gets 2 against his former club now managed by Terry Cooper!
