CITY LADIES MARCH ON
Exeter City Ladies FC registered a superb 2-1 win over Cardiff City at St James' Park last Sunday in the second round proper of the AXA sponsored Women's FA Cup.
They got away to the perfect start when after just two minutes Becky Batten lobbed the Cardiff goalkeeper to put City in front, a lead they held until the 54th minute when Cardiff equalised.
The game went into extra- time, and with just two minutes of the second period remaining, City grabbed the winner when Hannah Courtney drilled the ball into the net.
In the third round proper Exeter City Ladies have been drawn away to Wimbledon - the game being played on Sunday 9th December
