Exeter Women's team was reborn at the start of the 2006/07 season, with the focus of using young players that had come through the clubs Centre of Excellence (COE).
As a new team they entered the Devon League at Division 2 and comfortably won both the League and Devon League Cup.
This season, 2007/08, Exeter were in the Devon League Division 1, and were intent in pushing for promotion from the outset. 

The team were coached by Steve Tully, assisted by Kevin Hack, coaching took place on Mondays evenings at Exeter Schools AstroTurf.

The administrator was Kellie Hall, and the COE trained at Exeter University on Wednesdays, with matches arranged against suitable opposition on a monthly basis.
