Play resumed shortly after as the downpour subsided. Moments later and City opened the scoring with striker Carla Staddon (finding herself in the starting line up for the first time this season) slotting the ball confidently past the keeper. The final goal of the half came in the form of a wonderful strike from just outside the box by Staddon, to complete her hat-trick. City started the second half strongly and applied further pressure to Totnes & Dartington's defence. City's centre half Kellie
Hall's header found midfielder Naomi Wilkins in plenty of space. Seeing the keeper off her line, and with attacking play being wind assisted in this half, she struck the ball from 30-yards out.. The keeper had no chance and the ball dipped in just below the cross bar to net City's fifth.
