Elmore Eagles 9-1 AFC Clevedon

Promotion hopefuls Elmore completed the double of Clevedon but the result might well have been different had two early chances gone in, Vicky Davis hitting the post and Joy Fursman shooting straight at the 'keeper in the opening ten minutes.

Clevedon did hit the target on 36 minutes when Jo Slater netted from close in following a cross from Leanne Pook but by then they were three down. The fourth goal was hotly dis- puted but allowed to stand and after that Elmore's defence was rarely troubled. Clevedon's player of the match was 'keeper Sharon Edwards who made a series of first class saves to prevent the score getting into double figures.
