Exeter Rangers 3-6 Plymouth Pilgrims

Exeter Rangers went down to a disappointing 6-3 defeat against Plymouth in the first game of the season. Exeter took a 1-0 lead against a well organised Plymouth team with a goal from Maxine Badcock. Plymouth hit back with 2 goals in 5 minutes, but Rangers came back to get a well deserved equaliser through Becky Mantyk. In the second half Plymouth took control - scoring 4 goals in a good 20 minute spell. Rangers came back with a consolation goal through sub Lisa Millan.
