1950
Angus Mackay bags a hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Brighton at SJP. Centre forward Reg Dare (Dorset-born Reg Dare played for Exeter City in 1950/51. He joined the club from Southampton after being given a belated opportunity in professional football. Better-known as a cricketer, he played in 109 first-class matches for Hampshire between 1949 and 1954) makes his debut.

Alan Banks makes his City debut in a 2-1 defeat away to Tranmere

1968
Exeter City beat York away, 2-0, their third  home defeat of the season. City had beaten Darlington, away, two days. earlier which was their first league defeat also that season.

In League Cup 2nd round 2nd leg against Liverpool at home Exeter 6-0 and 11-0 on aggregate!
