EXETER THRASH LEADERS

EXETER LADIES played some of their best football of the season in defeating top of the table Newport 8-1 in the Womens Western League. Ness Byrne was in sparkling form for Exeter, scoring four goals. The other goals came from Julie Dunlop, Trina Lake (photo), Sue Carpenter, and Alison Yeo.

The two sides meet again next Sunday in the quarter final of the Pat Sowden Cup.
