Biographical Text
Admiral Muskwe joined Exeter City on what was intended to be an extended loan from Luton Town early in the 2023/24 season. A Zimbabwean International, he started his professional career with Leicester City and had previously been on loan with Swindon Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Fleetwood Town. His time at St James' Park was soon over once he suffered an injury playing in a World Cup qualifier. Harare-born Admiral moved to Britain at an early age and, growing up in the Leicester area, was a Leicester City academy player when at school. Becoming a scholar/trainee in 2014, he signed as a professional in 2016 ahead of being loaned to Swindon Town in 2020 (5 league appearances) and Wycombe Wanderers in 2021 (19 league and cup appearances; 3 goals). Leaving Leicester in July 2021, without making a first-team appearance but having represented England under-17s and Zimbabwe's full international team during his time with the club, Admiral signed for Luton Town for an "undisclosed fee' and made his debut on 7 August 2021 against Peterborough United.Playing 23 league and cup games (2 goals) for the Hatters during 2021/22 and making a further three appearances the following season, he also had a loan stint at Fleetwood Town in 2022/23 when he made 14 league and cup appearances scoring three times.By now aged 25, and with five caps for Zimbabwe, he arrived at St James' Park on a season-long loan at the start of September 2023 and promptly made his debut as a substitute against Burton Albion on 2 September 2023. After a period injured, Admiral made his first start against Wigan Athletic on 21 October but thereafter only appeared on a handful of occasions with his final City appearance being against Fleetwood on 13 November 2024 days before he suffered a hamstring injury when appearing for Zimbabwe against Rwanda in a World Cup qualifier. Returning to Luton for treatment, there was never any real prospect of him re-appearing for the Grecians and he was duly released by the Bedfordshire club in May 2024.
