Goalkeeper

Sam Down, then in the under-15 category, appeared for Exeter City under-18s against Bristol Rovers as a substitute goalkeeper in December 2023 ahead of starting in a couple of games towards the end of the season. Moving into the 2024/25 season he featured for the under 17s in the Professional Development Cup and was also part of the squad for that season's FA Youth Cup games.
