Harry Appleton, then in the under-15 category, made his debut for Exeter City under-18s against Newport County in February 2024. Subsequently moving into the under-16 age group, he was included in the squad for the pre-season friendly at Crediton United in July 2024 and made an appearance against Okehampton Argyle the following month in addition to later featuring for City's under-18s in both the Youth Alliance and FA Youth Cup as well for the under 17s in the Professional Development Cup.
