The Devon Regiment defeated a Royal Marines side by 2-1 at St James's Park. Exeter.

Lewis scored both goals for the winners and Hewitt replied for the Marines.

The match was in aid of the Devon Regiment Comforts Fund. Receipts were nearly £50.
