Tommy Goodger, then attending school in Barnstaple, was listed as an Exeter City under-14 player during the 2022/23 season. He had previously been on the books of Plymouth Argyle.

In May 2024 The Next Wave (@_TheNextWave_) reported that Tommy had signed academy forms for West Ham United.
