Baker, Ken
Ken Baker was assistant secretary at Exeter City during the 1980s and 1990s. He also took on duties as the club's cashier.
In August 2009 Ken Baker had been watching Exeter City for 75 years. His first game was in the 1934/35 season versus Newport County. City lost 1-0 in front of 7,500 people.
Since that day Ken has worked for the City in various roles including Secretary of the Social Club, in the Old Near Post and also the Office side of the Football Club,
In 2009 at the age of 83, he was still working for the Club in the Match Day Hospitality entrance, welcoming all the guest and Officials to the City.
"He has seen many highs and lows for his City, including promotions and the dreaded relegation the the Non-league ranks, but is always very positive and encouraging to anybody that stops him and wants to talk about the City. He has passed that City bug onto his son now, but he can only boast following the City since 1968/69 season - a mere young 'un."
