Ferlie, Peter

Peter Ferlie became chair of the Exeter City Supporters' Trust in 2025 having served on the organisation's board since 2021.

Having spent over thirty-five years in the retail sector, he later moved into working in community positions that aimed to reduce loneliness and social isolation especially amongst older people.

Peter first became involved with the Grecians with the “Red or Dead” campaign of the mid-2000s and, over time, sponsored a match and worked in the club shop alongside stints as Grecian Lion and ball retriever during the 'behind closed door' days in Covid. Between 2015 and 2021 he also served as the health and wellbeing officer at the Exeter City Community Trust.

After a troubling period at St James' Park - which had seen the dismissal of a chief executive and several changes of club chair - Peter was elected as chair of the Exeter City Supporters’ Trust in November 2025. When agreeing to take on the role for twelve months he requested not to sit on the club board in order to ensure a clear line of transparency between his position and the work of the Trust.
