Norman, Walter

W.T.Norman was an Exeter City director either side of the Great War from around 1912.

Born in Pimlico, London in 1876 Walter Thomas Norman was proprietor of the Bude Hotel in on Sidwell Street when he was invited to join the board in the wake of the FA investigation that marred City's early days as a professional club.

Later owner of the New London Inn until its closure in 1934, Mr Norman was also a city councillor and freemason and died aged eighty-two in 1958..
