Frederick Nichols was an Exeter City director from the 1920s to the 1940s.

Frederick Pengelley Nichols was born in West Cornwall in 1872 and had moved to Exeter by the time of the 1901 census. A corn and agricultural feed merchant, he joined the board in the early 1920s and served until shortly before his death in 1950 at the age of seventy-eight. His wife Minnie became Exeter’s first female Lord Mayor in 1965/66.
