William H C Saunders was an Exeter City director during the 1920s and 1930s.

Co-opted on to the club's board of directors in 1923, the Bristol-born Mr Saunders was the Exeter area representative of the Fry's chocolate company for around twenty years.

Later moving back to Bristol, he was a leading figure in Unitarian circles and died in 1949 at the age of seventy-five.
