Biographical Text

Kamari Doyle, then aged nineteen, joined Exeter City on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion early in the 2024/25 season. He had previously been with Southampton and had represented England at various age groups.

One of a number of young players over the years from the Bristol/Bath area to have played academy football for Southampton, he became a scholar/trainee with the Saints in 2021 and soon appeared for the club's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy. Also representing England at under-17 and under-18 level, Kamari became a full professional on his 17th birthday in August 2022.

Making good progress during the 2022/23 season, he made his first-team debut as a second-half substitute in the Premier League fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion in May 2023 before moving to the Sussex club for an 'undisclosed fee' in January 2024. By now having also played for England at under-19, Kamari arrived at Exeter City on an extended loan arrangement in August 2024.

Involved with the first team as soon as he signed, Kamari made his debut as a second-half substitute at Northampton Town on 17 August 2024 and started his first full game a fortnight later at Bolton Wanderers when he scored the first goal in City's 2-0 victory. Retaining good form, and scoring three more times in his first dozen or so games for the club, Kamari was included in the England under-20 squad in November 2024.
