Marks, Richard
Richard Marks was the audio visual officer at the club from 2012 to 2014.
Born in Exeter in 1988, Richard grew up in Exmouth and supported Manchester United as a small child before discovering Exeter City as an eleven-year-old with his first game being against Hartlepool United in February 1999. Becoming a season ticket holder in 2005, he attended all fifty-five games during the 2007/08 season when City returned to the Football League,
Spending three years in High Wycombe between 2009 and 2012 studying television and film, he undertook media work with both Wycombe Wanderers and Reading where he was a camera operator. Returning to Exmouth in 2012 he found work with Exeter City as an audio visual officer primarily creating video content for the club's Grecian Player. Runner-up in a national award, he was also involved in the launch of the club’s YouTube channel in 2014.
Having intended to take part in City’s trip to Brazil in 2014, Richard dropped out to take a job in Australia which was followed soon after by a move to New Zealand.
