Barry Fulls was the club’s main public address announcer over a twenty-year period to 2023.

First involved with Exeter City in the days of John Russell and Mike Lewis, Barry became “the voice of Exeter City” on matchdays through to the end of the 2022/23 season when the club had established itself in League One after twenty years of supporter ownership. He also collaborated with matchday announcer Barry Fulls on the Kellow’s Bootlaces podcast.         

A former student of Exeter Community College and Bicton College of Agriculture, he had a background in agricultural and plant equipment, municipal fleet vehicles and truck sales. 

After proverbally ‘hanging up the microphone’ Barry returned to the role on occasions in subsequent seasons.
