Crewdson, Andy

"My affiliation with Exeter City began when i attended my first match in March 1994, travelling up from Exmouth to take advantage of the ‘Quid a Kid’ offer. A dour 0-0 draw with Barnet played out but left its mark.
Upon leaving school a short work experience stint within the ground’s maintenance team in 1996 lead to a matchday role in the office. Over the years this evolved with more duties and responsibilities, including looking after referees and visiting teams and calculating matchday attendances. This matchday role lasted for 25 years when a lot of the role was lost to Covid protocols, this seemed like a natural time to 'retire' from the role.
A small stint between 2000 – 2002 was spent working at the Club full time to establish the new Website as part of a deal with the Football League, which has now evolved into the superb offerings that the current media team provide.
Since leaving my matchday role I now get to enjoy a pre match pint and to watch the whole the game from my season ticket seat in the IP Office Stand."
