BYE-LAWS FOR PLAYERS
Players in receipt of payment for services to the Club are requested to attend to the following Bye-Laws:
1.-Players must attend the ground daily at the hours stipulated from time to time, except those who are engaged in other employment, whose position will be determined and agreed individually according to circumstances.
2.-Players to train as the Manager or Trainer may from time to time determine, all players must obey the instructions of the same, in all respects assist them in the dis- charge of their duties; any breach will be considered a serious case of insubordination.
3.-Players are expected to be most careful in the use of their language on the field of play, in the dressing and players' rooms, and whilst travelling to and from away matches.
4.-Any case of illness or accident must be reported to the Manager or Trainer im- mediately, or 'Phone Exeter 54073, Mr. Honey (Sec.).
5.-Smoking is strictly prohibited in the Dressing Rooms, also in Saloons during travelling before a match
6.-No dancing allowed after Tuesday evening of any week.
7.-No persons other than Officials and Players are allowed in the Dressing Rooms on the day of the match without permission from the Manager.
8. No player to absent himself from any duties without first obtaining the sanction of the Manager and all Players not selected for any match must be present at the ground an hour before the match.
9. Players and Reserves chosen for away matches must be at the Railway station, prompt to time given on official Time Sheet and on all occasions when travelling by saloon not to introduce friends without first obtain- ing consent to do so, and to strictly adhere to the instructions of those in charge.
10. The Captains of the Teams shall have full control on the field of play, and the players shall readily accept their instructions.
11. Any player or players having a griev- ance at any time must lay the same before the Manager who will report to the Directors
Players are requested to refrain from the use of Football Coupons in or outside Dressing Rooms. Betting strictly prohibited.
12.-No motor cycles allowed.
13.-No Week-end Leave or Days off with- out permission of Manager.
14.-All players when injured will report at the ground on Sunday mornings, not later than 10.30 a.m.
15.-Players are at all times on their honour that their conduct will reflect upon themselves and the good name of the Club.
16.-Any failure to observe the above Bye- Laws will be dealt with as the Directors may deem advisable.
17. This card must be presented at the gate on Match Days.
