St Sidwel's journeyed to Newton, on Satur day, to try conclusions with the G.W.R. Students. The visitors scored five times, Eveleigh (2), Thomas (2), and Winter (1) being responsible. The home team did not provide goal nets, and a dispute arose over two of the goals. Мт. Narracott (Torquay), the referee, allowed the goals, the Students contending that the ball had hit the post and glanced outside. On his last decision the home team left the field, despite the fact that only five or ten minutes remained for play.
