A very pretty game was witnessed at Exeter. Davies soon opened the score for the homesters from a fine bit of passing in which the forwards took part. The second goal was a fast low shot. The defence of Mermagen and Keitch was a feature of the first half. But they changed their positions after the interval, when the Saints played downhill, and this accounted for the heavy defeat, Sellick scoring two, Eveleigh two. and Thomas and Cole one each.
